How a Third Person Joins Two Who Are Already Praying كيف يدخل الثالث مع اثنين يصليان
As for [the question about] leading the prayer, (audio unclear): if there are two [praying], and a third wants to join them, how does he join?
He says the opening takbir close to the imam, then moves the imam forward. If he is unable to move the imam forward, he moves the follower back behind him. If he moved the imam forward a little and then said the takbir, that would be good. But if he said the takbir before moving the imam forward, there is no harm in this, and it is not said that he said the takbir alone [behind the row], because he did not say the takbir alone in order to pray by himself. So this is equivalent to what Abu Bakrah did when he said the takbir before [reaching] the row in order to enter the row. (audio unclear)

أما بالنسبة للإمامة، (غير واضح في التسجيل): إذا كان [هناك] اثنان، وأراد الثالث يدخل معهم، كيف يدخل؟
يكبّر قريبًا من الإمام ثم يقدّم الإمام، [و]إذا كان ما في قدرة على تقديم الإمام يؤخّر المأموم خلفه. فلو قدّم الإمام قليلًا ثم كبّر كان هذا حسنًا. وأما لو كبّر قبل أن يقدّم الإمام فهذا لا بأس به، ولا يقال: إنه كبّر منفردًا؛ لأن هذا لم يكبّر منفردًا ليصلي وحده، فيكون هذا بمنزلة فعل أبي بكرة حين كبّر دون الصف ليدخل في الصف.
